This digital copy is Reel 5 of 6 of a set of 8mm films taken by Norman and Eleanor Appelget of their property in Northfield, Vermont, which they named Norel Farm. The footage for the entire set of reels spans the years between the 1950's and perhaps into the 1970's. The content of this reel is exclusively of the construction of the I-89 interstate highway near the Northfield, Vermont exit. It shows the bulldozing of trees to the application of the road surface. Video C-395 is a duplicate of the footage on this video except 30 seconds shorter.
