This digital copy is Reel 3 of 6 of a set of 8mm films taken by Norman and Eleanor Appelget of their property in Northfield, Vermont, which they named Norel Farm. The footage for the entire set of reels spans the years between the 1950's and perhaps into the 1970's. The Cape-style house shown in the film is the second oldest in Northfield and was built by Ezekiel and Dinah Robinson before 1816. An index sheet to this reel's film content was created by Eleanor Appelget. Content includes activities on the farm in all seasons, both work-related and recreational, brief scenes of trips to Shelburne Museum and Coolidge's birthplace, and a Fourth of July auction at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Northfield.
